The School board of Springdale Public Schools approves a temporary policy to require face coverings for staff and students when social distancing is not possible.
This requirement includes any time a student is on district property, district-owned transportation or school-sponsored activities.
Students will be able to remove face coverings while eating meals or snack, and will be given breaks throughout the day.
Students will be placed at least six feet apart during face-covering breaks.

Springdale Schools will:
-Have hand sanitizers in every classroom
-Have water bottle filling stations
-Provide Face coverings for all staff and students and allow up to $20 of reimbursement for teachers
-Transportation: Sanitizing busses multiple times a day
-Janitorial: Sanitizing all surfaces multiple times a day

Announcing the 12 Days of Graduation beginning Monday May 18, 2020. Springdale Schools is #THEChoice
The Northwest Arkansas Food Bank will join Tyson Foods, Hiland Dairy, Harris Baking, and the Northwest Arkansas Naturals to host a drive-through food distribution event on Saturday, May 9th at Arvest Ballpark in Springdale.
The event will run from 8:00 a.m. - noon or while supplies last.
2,000 food boxes will be distributed by the food bank. Tyson Foods will donate three truckloads or 120,000 pounds of protein to the food bank’s feeding agencies and community members. Milk will be donated by Hiland Dairy and bread will be donated by Harris Baking.
