At Don Tyson School of Innovation, 9th - 12th graders learned about the events of 9/11 and looked at local newspapers from the day of the attacks. They examined the events from multiple perspectives and analyzed how Arkansans were, and continue to be, affected by 9/11.
At Don Tyson School of Innovation 7th and 8th Grade classes watched a 9/11 Memorial & Museum Commemorative Program featuring first hand accounts of 9/11. They wrote reflections and created visual representations of how they felt after watching the film.
Hellstern Middle School held its 5th annual 9/11 breakfast for first responders. Thank you to all those who serve our community! #SpringdaleFamily
Students at Hunt Elementary observed 9/11 by learning about the World Tranced Center by reading the children's book "The Man Who Walked Between The Towers". This book features the French high-wire artist Philippe Petit's 1974 performance between the World Trade Center towers.

5th grade class at Sonora Elementary has started Bulldog Fridays where we wear red or Bulldog gear to cheer on and support our Springdale High School Bulldogs. The course also uses game scores for math lessons, making predictions, graphing, and more.

Central Junior High School treated the School Board to an amazing tour of the school's ongoing construction. The board walked among the construction peering into future classrooms, athletic facilities, the cafeteria, and meeting rooms. The new building will help better serve the community of Springdale and continue to provide a rich learning experience. The expected completion date is Spring of 2024. #Springdalefamily
